Linguistic Fill-in-the-Blanks

This HyperPoet makes it easy to dynamically create fill-in-the-blanks grammar exercises. It will replace all occurrences of the specified part of speech (like "verb" or "noun") in the provided text with boxes for the user to fill in an answer, which can be checked by clicking on the question mark. The user has the option of providing the base form of the word (like the infinitive of verbs or the singular of nouns, etc.).

Frequencies Centroid (alpha)

This HyperPoet represents the average position of a word in a circular space: if each word from a text is shown around the circumference of a circle (starting at the top at "noon") then the position of the word inside the circle represents the aggregate force of each occurrence of the word on the circumference.

Series Centroid (alpha)

This HyperPoet represents the average position of a word series in a circular space: if each word serie from a text is shown around the circumference of a circle (starting at the top at "noon"), then the position of the word serie inside the circle represents the aggregate force of each occurrence of the word serie on the circumference.

This HyperPoet finds word anagrams (different words that contain exactly the same letters, like "listen" and "silent").

Text Entropy

This HyperPoet displays texts but only shows each word the first time it occurs, which leads to an increasingly incomprehensible text.

Palindromes

This HyperPoet finds palindromes in texts (palindromes are words that are spelled the same way forward or backward, like "racecar".

Text Reverser

Displays the text in reverse order (but the letters of each word remain in the proper order).
